Bill Labuda was quick to respond and helped fix our heating issue in these current freezing temps. I wasn’t home and he went above and beyond in helping my family. Very knowledgeable, friendly and I’m so pleased with the whole experience. Highly recommend them.

Know where your main water shut off is.
Know the location of your main water shutoff valve. It’s usually near the outside perimeter of your house and always on the ground floor, in the basement, or in the crawl space. The valve could also be located near the water heater or under the kitchen sink if you have a slab foundation. Being able to shut off the water in an emergency can save thousands of dollars in property damage.

10 Tips to Prevent Frozen Pipes in Winter
Here are some tips to prevent your pipes from freezing during winter:
– Insulate pipes in your crawl spaces and attic.
– Use heat tape or heat cables approved by an independent testing organization like Underwriters Laboratories Inc to wrap pipes.
– Seal any air leaks around electrical wiring, dryer vents, and pipes using caulk or insulation.
– Disconnect garden hoses before winter and shut off and drain water from pipes leading to outside faucets.
– Let warm water drip overnight from a faucet on an outside wall to keep pipes from freezing.
– Keep your thermostat set at the same temperature day and night to prevent frozen pipes and reduce strain on your furnace during extreme cold.
– Open cabinet doors under sinks and appliances near exterior walls to allow heat to get to un-insulated pipes.

Keeping your systems running
It is recommended that you schedule at least once a year for maintenance service for your tankless water heater, boilers, and furnaces. If you reside in an area with hard water, you may need to schedule more frequent services. During each servicing session, a qualified technician will perform various tasks to ensure your systems maintain optimal performance.
